InsideOut Music America has issued the following update:

"New releases for 2007 Update!!!!! Some of which can be heard on our http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=69880730 - MySpace page .

March 13th...This Tuesday!!!!

Dominici "O3, A Trilogy. Part 2"
- Charlie Dominici was the original singer of Dream Theater. His new album, the second in the trilogy, is smokin progressive metal at its finest.

- Dominici was #5 most added album to FMQB's metal radio chart this week! So call you local metal show and demand "The Calling!"

April 3rd...

Slavior "s/t"
- "A swirling and exotic trip into new realms... Slavior is a fresh, rhythmic pan-world meeting of hard rock minds." ... Martin Popoff (BW&BK)

Redemption "The Origins of Ruin"
- "The Origins of Ruin is a masterfully composed work of progressive metal with stunning, heartfelt melodies. When it comes to the musical conveyance of power and passion, Redemption stands alone." ... Scott Alisoglu (Metal Maniacs)

Thought Chamber "Angular Perceptions"
- Some of the best technical metal I've heard in a while! Featuring Ted Leonard from Enchant on vocals and guitar virtuoso, Michael Harris. A must for fans of Dream Theater.

April 24th...

Daryl Stuermer "Go"
- the seventh solo effort from theGenesis/Phil Collins guitarist.

Allan Morse "Four O'clock and Hysteria"
- the first solo effort from the guitarist of Spock's Beard.

SAGA "World's Apart" Revisited CD & DVD
- the band takes a look back at there break though album.

May 22...

Planet X "Quantum"
- That's right the most dangerous band is back with a new album entitled "Quantum" and as always features Derek Sherinian on keys and Virgil Donati on drums. Allan Holdsworth also takes on some of the guitar duties.

Also in May???

Devin Townsend "Ziltoid The Omniscient" - Ziltoid is coming and he's planning on taking over the world!

June???...

Symphony X "Paradise Lost"
- The long awaited new album, "Paradise Lost" will be here around June. Yes, I know we've been pushing it back and pushing it back. Unfortunately those were situations beyond our control. But, what I hear, its going to be well worth the wait. Look for SX on the road this summer. However, if you can't wait… they are playing BB Kings in NY on May 25. Better get your tickets now!

July???

New King's X and Dead Soul Tribe!!!!!!

August???

One of my favorite bands, Riverside!!!!

What? You want more? How about a few Proggers for this summer!

Kaipa "Angling Feelings"
- Roine Stolt from The Flower Kings' old band from the '70s. Great Prog.

Beardfish "Sleeping in traffic"
- Great Prog band from Sweden in the vein of Gentle Giant.

The Tangent "Live CD & DVD"
- If you don't know who The Tangent is by now, then you better ask somebody!!!! Featuring Andy Tillison from Tangerine Dream.

I spoke to bassist, Jonas Reingold from The Flower Kings the other day. He said they are beginning work on the new album. He also said the material Roine Stolt presented to him in more in the vein of "Stardust We Are" and he is very excited about it.

Also, I spoke to Kalle from RPWL and he says that they will be playing this years BAJA Prog festival. Then Yogi will finish his solo album while Kalle starts working on the new RPWL. Look for it maybe around the beginning of 2008.

All the best,
Eric Corbin

Dominici,Redemption and Thought Chamber are EXCELLENT new progressive metal releases.

Slavior isn't really prog metal imo,but they play some killer hard rock/metal and Mark Zonder plays drums on the album, which is pretty good.

Isn't Riverside on InsideOut?  Their album is scheduled for September.

It's sad though that they leaked ... it means that a rift is created between those who wait until the official release, and those that go for leaked copies. For example, right now I don't have access to these albums and can't join discussions about them ... and when they're finally released I can't talk to them about the album either because it's already old news and they moved on to the new leaks of albums that I don't have.

Confused

Wow!  Excited about the new Dead Soul Tribe and Devin Townsend.. Wasn't expecting either one of those, actually.

Disappointed that there are no new Ayreon or Shadow Gallery... Cry

edit:
Redemption, Thumbs%20Up!

I've had a copy of Thought Chamber since last summer, we almost picked it up for our label (IOM outbid us), it is very good, if you want to hear tracks we have it in rotation at www.progrock.com

As for Shadow Gallery, make sure to check out Amaran's Plight as Gary Wehrkamp is doing most of the writing, so it might satisfy your SG jones till their album comes out, which probably won't be for another year.
