Cartman, definitely ... no explanation necessary. He is the main character, most episodes evolve around him.Smile

Cartman's just brilliant! I loved the 'Make love not Warcraft' episode, being a hardcore WoW-geek at the time it came out. "MOM! TOILET!"

Quite hard to choose. I went with Butters. His innocence is hilarious.
I also admit, I identify with Kyle often

It's gotta be butters.  I love that poor boy.  He is the antithesis of cartman, and he serves his purpose well.

I like to think Cartman is the representative of all evil in the world and everyone has to work to keep him at bay.  That's why I think 'Scott Tenorman Must Die' is one of the all-time greatest episodes, simply because Cartman prevails.  It's actually kind of terrifying. Geek

South Park is a great show. I can't really decide who is my favorite character, though.

I agree. That episode was hilarious.

I love Cartman. He's everything I'm not, and that's why I like him. His evilness makes me laugh.

Eric Cartman definitely.

Everyone says that I was Cartman when I was 8.......some say I still am.

We both share a pathological hatred of hippies....

Favorite episode....Kenny Dies

I voted for Token, yes he is a one joke character but its hilarious, they never really mention him and hes the only black person in the class. Amuses me greatly. Cartman's really the best but go Token.

The reason Cartman is so popular is because he says and does all the things regular people can't say or do - whether politically incorrect, socially unacceptable or morally shaky, he's on top of it.  He's cathartic in that way.

I live in Europe ... so, no. I'll probably have to wait two years until I'm finally allowed to watch these episodes.
