I've just bought a DVD player!   I'm veeery happy seeing concerts with it (and with a superb home theater AND new TV!), so I thought it would be a good idea to start this topic. MI 2 sucked so much. I wanted to for the writer to listen to Fantomas for 8 hours straight for writing such a terrible script full of so many plotholes and things that made no sense at all. Disc 2 of season 3 of Arrested Development. |

I am an absolute music DVD maniac: a few years ago I have bought a DVD player and a few months ago a video-DVD player/recorder in order to put my music video collection on DVD, I have hundreds of music DVD's and my problems to store these DVD's are mounting but that's a luxury problem Today in my DVD player: Manfred Mann's Earth Band with Unearthed The Best Of 1973-2005, mindblowing Minimoog soli

Music wise, it was Yes' 'Live At Montreux' and also been watching the various bells and whistles on those recently remastered Genesis albums.
Otherwise, it's been various classic UK cult TV shows I've had on the go- Doctor Who, The New Avengers, Hazell and The Professionals.

Uriah Heep - Classic Heep: Live From The David Byron Era
The only chance to see Byron, Thain, Kerslake, Box & Hensley with DTS sound, excellent DVD.
 They had the chance to film the same concert from which Live 73 LP was recorded so they used the restored film and the exact digitalized master tape to make an excellent production that fits with no faillures.
Also can be seen a few sections with a very young John Wetton replacing Gary Thain.

I saw him on that tour! It was in a dinky little town in Pennsylvania and a ton of people left so we snuck up from fourth row to first row. Amazing concert and live album, don't have the DVD though. Does he do the twelve minute version of Thick as a Brick on the DVD? That was the highlight of the concert |
