| Personally, I don't know whether it's a very good idea to open a poll on this subject. In many cultures it is not good manners to ask people how much they earn. However, I'll leave it open for the time being, unless I (or any other member of the Admin team) realise that forum members are offended by the question. |

you haven't stated whether the above is per week, per month or per year...
my other problem with this is that because I live in on the job, I have a rolled-up wage.
that means, I don't pay for Rent, Council Tax, Gas, Water, Electric, Telephone, TV Licence, Toiletries & Cleaning products, Building Repairs... and most importantly, I don't travel to work... as a result, my net wage is very low, so I hardly pay any Tax or National Insurance, and it's supplemented by Government Tax Credits. What I earn is almost entirely mine to spend.
How would you evaluate all that financially???  ------------- Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson |

People could simply (and sincerely) inform their earnings without the need to identify themselves (like the Age Poll). It could be an interesting panel about PA members, if taken seriously.

I make just enough for my needs, and maybe a bit more. The funny thing is that I came into a large sum of money a while ago. I have most of it invested, and just live on my earnings. When I retire I will have more money than I will know what to do with. That is a serious statement. I don't need a lot.
