Did a search, and hadn't found any posts mentioning this.

Old news that this was in the works, but Jeff Wayne is putting together an animated film utilising his "War of the Worlds" music. The CGI animated musical film is set to be released in 2007 (or 2008).

Reportedly, the trailer seen at the site above was shown to audiences during his The War of the Worlds - Live tour this year.

Very Interesting I may have to go and see that, it will be the best one by far, the only one that has come remotly close was the Byron Haskey's version in the 50s and even then that was set in America.
