Sometimes I feel that time isn't on my side.So many great albums lying waiting for me in MP3 right now at home...some are unlistened since spring!!!Also there are some CDs which I haven't even opened yet!!!

Sounds familiar? Yeah, there's a lot of prog and almost no time to listen to it...How many more albums you have at home you haven't lsitened to yet?My amount is nearly 100 !!!

When I buy an album in a store or from Amazon, I'll listen to it - always. But I have a few (less than 10) albums that I bought on Ebay or in a second hand store for less than 5€, which I haven't listened to yet. They're kind of low priority ...

None - but there are lots of albums in my collection which only got 2 or 3 listenings until today, and not because they´re bad, I don't have spare time to listen to these albums..

I always listen to mine as soon as I purchase - and always twice. What I do have is probably 2000+ that I have only listened to that two times.

I know, it does seem weird not to have listened to so many. On the subject of books - that's entirely understandable - I must have several hundred I have yet to read - even some I bought in the early seventies. I also have at least a three hundred dvds that I have yet to see. In defence, books and dvds take rather longer to devour than a cd of music. It’s always a good thing to listen as soon as possible in case they are faulty and need to be returned.

I've listened to the vast majority of my "original" CDs, but I have tonnes of CD-Rs that I've yet to listen to. I like to idea of creating a vast stockpile which I can use to fuel my music consumption over the many years I have ahead of me.

None in my case. I usually get two cds a month (can't afford any more, unfortunately!) and they get played well within two weeks of getting them.
Maybe at Xmas, when I get some for presents, they may wait a week or two to be played, but played they will be, before too long!Wink

Same here, except that I listened to all my original CDs (over 4000). The past few months I downloaded a large number of prog rarities you never see in the shop, I still have to listen to many of those.

Well, I do have a copy of Limp Bizkit's Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavoured Water still in it's plastic wrapping.......

But I don't really feel a great need to open it, tbh.
