Is anyone here writing a book at the time? I am. I call it "If Anyone asks, I'm going Insane."

It's a comedy, with a lot a lot of metaphorical irony and social commentary.

The basic story is about an insane lunatic who discovers a utopia for Mankind, in which he discovers by a excessively long system of complex laws.

I've been trying to for a while, but I have trouble commiting to one idea, and I judge myself to roughly. Mine's about a guy in the near-future who has some trouble with his wife, and leaves one night after they argue. He then goes on some kind of journey thing, heavy surreal vibes, the usual. And it's trying to be a comedy. Books are hard!

I've written a few short stories (but not for awhile now...ahh college), and have a few more ideas, but they will probably go no where.

Good luck with yours. Thumbs Up

The same as Hattie.  I've written a few short stories, as well as half-heartedly begun bigger stories that will never likely see the light of day.

I will perservere though, as I also have some ideas in my addled brain.

I've written several short-stories, but not all are finished. I doubt that I would have the patience to write a real book though. Good luck with your project!

I believe Sid Smith, Paul Stump and Jerry Lucky are PA members.

It's got to be slow
Taking love the only way
It's got to just flow
Making love and taking time to let it grow

I tried writing a book once. I had a chapter or two done and was told that it was really good, but it was becoming a rip off of my favourite author at that time and I stopped writing in shame.
