Okay, so he wastes a lot of time thinking when he shoulda stuck to playing drums....

There's the answer. Drummers shouldn't think.

Kevin Godley (there is a resemblance, tho')

That picture is from a 1988-(9)? Concert with the Who on the 20th anniversary of Tommy.  It was at Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles and broadcast live on a pay per view event. It was one of two concerts where they played Tommy complete the other being in New York.  They had several Guest Stars come out for the LA concert.  Stevie Winwood did the Hawker, Patty Levelle did The Acid Queen, Billy Idol did Cousin Kevin, Elton John did Pinball Wizard and Phil Collins did Keith Moons Uncle Ernie.  Actually he did it pretty well. Still have that show on video somewhere.

Speaking of Cal prog did you see the line up?  Looks pretty good.

"Stow yur Weapons" only applies to Europeans and Canadians....

Flower Kings, IZZ and Bubblemath... so far.

They still have one spot open. I'm hoping for Lands End (LA) Salem Hill (Mid West) or Singularity (Colorado) or even Man On Fire (wherever). Should be good.

Do you like sushi? My wife and I found a nice sushi bar last summer, maybe we could dine the night before. Also, they don't allow beer in the hall, so I'm packing an ice-chest and an extra box of ammo (just in case Greed Flubber shows up!).

The more the merrier I say.  I wish I could send you air- fare Reed.

Would love to share an ale or six with you.

But James Lee you are close enough to tip a few with Danbo and I.

Please James come out into the light!  Before the computer absorbs you

and you become one of the little men that has to post the letters on the screen that we type!

Yes Reed, I'd set you up with a place to stay, kick you down some ale and whip you in some billiards. Air-fare? I'm sre GDUB would make a trade with you, eh?

James Lee, dadgummit, yes, James is in striking distance.

I saw Owl at last years Cal-Prog, but it was in the middle of the show and by the time Keneally hit the stage my wife was toast (sleepy, not plastered, no alcohol at the venue, dammit) and I had to take her back to the hotel for some  and put her to bed.

A rendezvous at Cal-Prog would be highly celebrated.
