whilst i am all for minimizing too much negativity here, i cannot resist:
upon reading most of the topics and comments posted here, which is the
band, that you absolutely hate most of all? or, to be more precise, which is
the band that makes you glad to be a proghead?
only non-prog for a maximum of fiendishness please

oh, btw. i am NOT having a bad day!

I couldn't agree more, negative polls are utterly reprehensible and add nothing constructive to this site....but anyway I voted for U2.

Their music is okay, but Bono just gets on my wick so much. I find his irritant value to be huge:

- Those crucifiction poses he did on stage (like 'I'm suffering for you')
- Wearing sunglasses indoors
- Doing that annoying victory sign thing
- Meeting world leaders and making out he's going to save the planet when its really just a couple of egos stroking each other.

Ahaahh, that feels better.

Hmm, I'm not sure about on this forum, but on Encyclopedia Metallium (or however you spell it), it's a capital crime to like Limp Bizkit. In fact, one of the punishments on the forum is to be "Dursted" (given the title of Fred Durst under your user name).

LOL

Not sure if I feel anything at all about any of these bands (although I have actually forced myself to sit down and listen to post-RTL Metallica albums, which I found awful), but I do love to make fun of Dream Theater on these forums. Wink

Save a seat for me on the "I hate U2 too bandwagon"

Out of this list the clear choice is Limp Bizkit. The most talentless band in history. Even when I was 10 I wouldn't buy their CDs even though they were so popular.

If you need a reason to hate Limp Bizkit I beg you to watch this.

As for the others, I can't believe that everyone picked U2. I've always been a big fan, but I guess thats just me.

As for prog bands I hate on this site... Hmm... let me think. DREAM THEATER!!!AngryCensored

Limp Bizkit might cause some to spit out their biscuits -- it just leaves me limp.  Durst is a clown.  Very bad stuff.   I vote Limp.

As for U2, I used to enjoy quite a bit of their 80's stuff.  Whatever one thinks Bono[head]'s motivations are, I am glad that he's using his celebrity to take on an activist role.

I quite enjoy the Red Hot Chili Peppers (they're my favourite of this list).  Some songs I really like.

Green Day - I don't like them one bit.

I can stand most of those, but Limp Bisquit is totally unacceptable.

There is a poll in the Polls section with the charming title "who sucks the most",that is nearly identical to this one.Not all the bands are the same but there is an "other" option.

So use that poll and go wallow in negativity, because I am closing this one.
