Hello.

I am busy with the Waniyetula biography, this band is not Swiss but German (from Frankfurt Am Main)!

BTW, don't know if one of the admins wants to fix this, but Waniyetula and Galaxy are the same band. I believe this has been pointed out before.

Galaxy is listed as a Psych band from Switzerland and Waniyetula as a German Symph band, but they are one and the same. The album 'Natures' Clear Well' was released by the band's label in the U.S. under the name Galaxy because it was more commercially appealing (the label's opinion, not the band's).

If you check the Waniyetula 'Iron City' compilation you'll see that the band members are the same as that of Galaxy, and two of the songs are even the same. The Galaxy album has a different cover as well, I believe from a Swiss release.

Also, the 'official' web site listed for Galaxy is a dead link.

Spot on, Clem... Smile

Considering that all other cases here apparently drove to a single entry, Galaxy shall be melted within Waniyetula. However, it's fair to talk with the Psych Team first.

Hmm. How would you melt up these bands in practical manner? "Waniyetula / Galaxy (GER)"? This makes the band duo fall in one alphabet in the archives, so the person seeking with the other name wouldn't find them! Personally, I think it would be better to just tie these bands together via hyperlink in their biographies? I can do it for you if it's OK? There are few other similar cases in the archives, where a same bunch of peolpe have played under different bandnames during different eras.

^ PS.. Heh,  we have currently quite similar avatars. Tongue
