Have any of you guys heard of an American band called Dust from the 1970`s. I have two of their albums one of which features Frank Franzeti cover art. If so do you think they fit into any prog genre.

Dust is probly not really prog, i have their first and second albums...dont really sound like prog at all to me, but maybe you could squeeze them into one of the various catagories, it seems to be done often with bands that MAY not be prog.

their second album cover is awesome, frank frazetta artwork :)

As far as I know, there's only two Dust albums: "Dust" and "Hard Attack". IMO they were a fantastic hard rock band, absolutely not prog at all. I love both these albums, but "Hard Attack" is the best.

BTW, do you know that KISS first album was produced by Kenny Kerner (Dust producer) and Richie Wise (Dust lead singer, guitar player and chief songwriter)?
