Can anyone think of a band with no original members or an extinct band (one who's member's are all dead)?

If Fripp ever retires, do you think King Crimson will continue?

Soft Machine after Mike Ratledge left (post "Seven"). He guest starred on their next album but then disappeared I believe.

Sure there are others, but I suck.

I know a lot of bands who only have 1 original member left, but a completely different line-up, I can't think of any.

And to answer your other question, there is no KC without Fripp (no Opeth without Akerfeldt, no Camel without Latimer, etc,etc...)

Only Fripp himself has said he is not integral to the band and has offered to leave on occasions if it meant keeping the band going.
