Nima, leader of Merge has written to me with the following request. Nima 
always has this problem spoken about as the leader of an independent band, sorting out 
venues gigs etc. at a distance - the band is based in California. Therefore, can 
anybody in Europe with good contacts with music venues reply to me 
in the first instance. I'm know Nima will supply promo/samples to really 
interested people who don't know their music.  I saw them in LA in 
2003, playing at Disney World - and they were superb. Nima is a master player 
of the Chapman Stick.

Hi Richard,

    long time no talk.  I hope all is well with you.  I'm writing to 
let you know that I'll be in Europe in Mid April for about a month.  Last year 
it seemed more difficult to get dates in Europe.  So this year I decided 
to come out there and meanwhile start booking club dates to get us more 
recognized out there.  I'll be coming out with my original drummer 
Murray (who's quite amazing) along with a sax player from Belgium to do some 
dates. It was just too difficult to being the whole band.  But this will 
hopefully generate more work for us out there.  So I would greatly appreciate 
your help if you can think of any possible venues or events we can play at 
while we're out there.
