just picked up this message through chrissquire.com
“I want my fans and other interested consumers to know that I am strongly
discouraging them from purchasing the new Syn album 'Armistice Day'.
I ask that this release not be purchased because there have been no written
permission by myself, and allegedly any of the musicians involved in the project.”
does anyone have details on this? apparently chris squire and syn parted
ways quite ferouciously, judging from the bluntness of the according
statement. seems like he is “pulling a peter panks” in regards to
nardelli & co.
shame really – i gave the album a somewhat lukewarm review but it seemed
a fun and unexpected as well as adventurous thing to to and promised at
least some excitement, as opposed to the sheer boredom of latterday YES.

Interesting comments for sure. It makes you wonder what really went ' pear shaped' behind the scenes. On initial listen the Syndestructible album was not half bad but repeated listening proved it was a shade mediocre. I would have to believe Squire's comments if the article is true from his web site on the new release.
