If I had to pick one I would have to choose the X Factor.

On Virtual X they are just barely going through the motions.Sorry, but I think it is absolutely terrible.

Nothing to be sorry about, mate!

I bought X Factor when it was released, wanted to get into it, tried for a few months, and ended up selling it at a used records store, and haven't heard a note of it since.  Time has passed, and I am curious to listen to it again to see if my opinion/appreciation of it has changed...

About Virtual XI, there were a few tracks that I really liked, like Futureal, When Two Worlds Collide, Lightning Strikes Twice, the amazing The Clansman and Como Esta Amigo.  Songs like The Angel and the Gambler, Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger and The Educated Fool I found really horrid though.

What tracks do you consider as standouts on X Factor ?

Lord of the Flies and Sign of the Cross are two of the standout tracks, imo.

X Factor for me. There are no weak songs IMHO. The beauty of the album lies in the fact that it is different from any previous Maiden albums, and yet the Maiden style is recognizable. Virtual XI is not bad at all but clearly, Bailey was still used as the guy who replaced Dickinson - (when will he come back?).Harris's epics are the weakest songs on the album. If only the Angel and the Gambler were shorter, it woluld've worked great; Don't Look to the Eyes of the Stranger is better but still a bit too long.
