I was lately using adobe autition for recording and it's great. The problem is it was the trial and i'm not in conditions of paying it. Could anyone tell me any other software similar to audition but cheaper or free?

Revan,

As it happens, I read a review of Adobe Audition 2.0 in the October 2006 issue of Computer Shopper (UK edition), which is already on sale in newsagents. On their Web site you can read the review, which contains recommendations for better and cheaper alternatives for musicians:

http://www.compshopper.co.uk/ - http://www.compshopper.co.uk/

On the same Web site, under the so-called 'Shopper Labs', you will find test results for eight music packages, from the July 2006 issue of the magazine.

Hope that is of use.
