My friend loves this show, I would like to watch it sometime.
Honestly, I am wither playing guitar, doing schoolwork, or one the computer writing, posting on PA, or doing more schoolwork. I can never find the time.

My sister's a big fan of the show so naturally I've seen a few episodes. Really interesting show but I'm... no pun intended... somewhat lost with what's going on (probably because I've only seen the first 5 or 6 episodes and then 2 or 3 episodes from the second season, so I've missed out on a lot of crucial moments).

a show you can't drop in or out of ..or in the middle of.. unless you have a coach....
T.V. at it's finest. Creative, original, with characters you had acually relate to (a bit of the Sawyer in me ,
mixed with some Locke) ... it had me at hello..... haven't
missed an episode yet... and eagarly awaiting season 3.

*Rumor Warning*
BTW I just found out that the egyptin hieroglyphics on the hatch count down says "Underworld". And you remember the shark w/ the Dharma sign it? Well you put 2 and 2 together and you get an under-water hatch................. well maybe.

Nah I think they're done w/ the hatches for a while.
I think they said the main focus this time around is gonna be the Kate-Jack-Sawyer love story.

I've never once seen an episode of Lost. I missed the first one and gave up even trying to watch them.

I did watch part of the first season, but this thing seems so far (I have not seen anything from the second season) like a huge rip-off from Jules Verne's L'Ile Mysterieuse. (the last resting place of Captain Nemo)

Sure the Verne version is fairly old and outdated, but the canvas is serving for Lost. And from the canvas, they make sufficient changes and modernize the plot >> trick done.

Nothing is an accident on this show (spoiler warning) the plane was pulled in by some kind of magnetic field. I've never read that book, but I wouldn't doubt it has some similar qualities. As for a "rip-off" I doubt it the show takes the best parts of many shows combines 'em into something new and original.
For Ex: I've seen some Ideas from the "Matrix", "Gilligan's Island", "The Twilight Zone" "Survivor" ect... all expressed on Lost.

I hope the premiere is as good as last years. That first scene w/desmond was crazy. The second episode,,,,,,,, or the second half of the first, sucked though. You wait a whole week to see the same episode from another point of view???? I hope they don't do that again.

spoiler warning
Yeah it was good if you look back on it, but I would have rathered they made it into one episode though. My problem was that I waited a whole week to find out who he was, but nothing.
Didn't really spoil anything though...?? but just for you I'll add a spoiler warning.

I don't know I like the second episode. The part with Jack was pretty uneventful, but the part with the raft was pretty interesting. They finally gave us some more information about Walt and we got to see some more of the "others"
Or am I thinking or the wrong episode?

I heard somewhere that the "creature" that ate the pilot on the first season can be seen in one of the episodes, but it is hidden, and you must search for it frame by frame. I kind of hate this info, since it can be true or false, but the effort demanded to know this for sure is huge.

Surely the plane was pulled in by some kind of magnetic field was not intentional, therefore an accident, and they might even twist the polt to say that yes it was because they wanted to destroy or kill something in that plane, who knows?
OK, I'll take back the rip-off words which might be too cruel/severe. I mean these guys are professional writer and I was hooked enough to have seen roughly half the shows and even delaying my leaving the house until the show was finished.
But if you sere how these TV scriptwriting teams are brainstorming and shovelling ideas around, there is no doubt they are pillaging and plundering every book they ever set their eyes upon. *
And surely this great classic book was in their hands

There is quite a bit of truth into this. I am sure that the whole idea/p)lot could've been done in three or four episodes, but obviously such a TV series is made for the industry to feed on for years, so they will in all likelyhood stretch out , dilute and meander as far as they can before bringing the real issues about what occupies. If I remember, they took almost tyhree episodes to open the exit/shaft. >> ridiculous and thin.
And you'd think by now the fat guy had lost at leaqst twenty kilos.
