Both bands are great, but I love more Genesis albums than Yes albums (though the Yes albums I love I REALLY love, like Relayer, CttE, Fragile).

In what aspect? Early days for both bands: Genesis by far. Entire history for both bands: Yes. For never straying too far from their prog-rock ethos. We all know the treason that Genesis committed. So I guess as a general question looking at both bands entite history, Yes comes out on top. By the way, this is a pretty lame poll. Well... Mr. Anderson is a total hippie... so he wont be fighting...Wakeman would probably sit down and have some curry... Which leaves only Squire, Howe and White... but Howe would probably collapse under stress of walking around... so he's out. So we've got Squire and White vs. Genesis. However, Hackett would get fed up and leave because no one is letting him fight anybody... Peter would be dancing around in a flower costume... so he's out... and Phil, Tony and Mike can't resist the urge to make lame pop music together so they're outta here. Looks like Genesis forfeits the match and Yes wins by default.  In terms of music? Genesis gives Yes the ol' right hook and they're out cold. GENESIS IS THA WINNAAAAA!!! |
