Those of you who use signature images from ratingfreak.com:

Please update the link and replace "ratingfreak" with "progtology", or otherwise your signatures won't work in Mozilla Firefox. Example:

http://www.ratingfreak.com/sig/MikeEnRegalia.png

becomes

http://www.progtology.com/sig/MikeEnRegalia.png

I'm sorry about the inconvenience, but my website moved to another server and allthough there are redirect mechanisms in place, Mozilla Firefox refuses to display the images.Embarrassed

Best take notice of this, otherwise the archives will be flooded by those bloody annoying Lasermyass flashing sigs, that suddenly seem to be the craze.

You have anything against those sigs?Tongue Mine is very stylish, and its background colour even matches my avatar (which I hope YOU will have noticed, being one of Rush's best albums).... Unless perhaps you refer to someone else's hard-to-ignore slogan-cum-sig!LOL

I have the same issue with those LaserMyWords sigs as well, Tony, I thought it was just me!

Thanks Mike for letting us know, I'll change it now.

BTW: I'll add some more features in the next few days:

- top artists
- top epics

Let me know if there's anything you'd wish for your signatures - I'll see if I can implement it.

BTW: If Max could implement an XML feed for the latest user/collab reviews (similar to RSS), with just the rating, timestamp and album name, then I could even add that to the signature!

Are you able to choose what you want your sig to display?

A recently played and top weekly artists would be cool.

And I liked the one I saw quite awhile ago that was recently played, top weekly, and top overall all in one.

^ I always thought it was cool to let the signature cycle between different layouts ...

I think I'll let you specify in more detail which display modes should be used (can be any combination of recent tracks, weekly artist, overal artist, overal track, overal album).

To be honest Mike, your sigs cycling between different layouts is the only reason I don't use them.

The irony is ... I originally thought about implementing my own signature service because of the cycling. I find it kind of boring to always have the same content in my signature ... why not last.fm now, then in one hour my favorite prog albums, then my recent purchases ...

I'm curious - what's so bad about it?

There's nothing wrong with it Mike,it's just not to my personal taste.

I want my sig to show what I choose for it to show.

great, Mike.

just that right now my signature looks stuck (though over at Progtology it is perfectly updated, just like the recent facts are on last.fm).

I don't have to do anything since these new changes, right?

^ no, but if you change the signature settings you may still see the old version here in the forum for up to 30 minutes ... press F5 or click the refresh button, and the new signature should appear.

EDIT: There *was* another bug that I fixed just now - thanks for pointing me towards it! the signatures did not "age" properly, they do so now.
