Please, just pick one of each instrument, and create the most awesome Prog Supergrooup and make a post of your choice. Enjoy.

Fripp, Peart, Levin, Emerson and Lake. That would be mind-blowing, but their ego would probably get in the way.

The best supergroup would be Rush (Lifeson is optional) add on Keith Emerson and Freddie Mercury(sorry Geddy). That would be a hell of a combo with some fine vocals.

Right now the top votes are: Roger Waters-Vocals Chris Squire-Bass Rick Wakeman-Keyboards Steve Howe-Guitars Bill Bruford-Drums
Is it just me or does that look astonishingly simillar to classic era Yes without Jon Anderson? I guess that goes to show why Close To The Edge and other Yes albums are so highly rated .

None of the above drummers (my vote goes to Pierre Moerlen). None of
the above singers either (my vote goes to Peter Hammill). None of the
above bass players either (my vote goes to Helmut Hattler). None of the
above guitar players either (my vote goes to Roman Bunka). Some choices
you give us there, leaving out drummers like Pierre Moerlen, Christian
Vander and Mani Neumeier, bass players like Helmut Hattler, Gerald
Luciano Hartwig or Janik Top, guitar players like Steve Hillage or Roman Bunka, singers like Peter Hammill or Peter Gabriel. To name but a few.
