Both are excellent, but I listen to The Dreaming more often.

I think "The Dreaming" has aged better.  I remember the big deal when "Security" came out:  the drummer didn't use cymbals!!!!  Now, I find that that detracts from the album, almost like they forgot to turn up the cymbal tracks when they originally mixed down the album.

Pitting my favourite male artist against my favourite female artist... shame on you! Peter Gabriel gets my vote. Had you chosen Hounds of love for Kate it would have been the other way around.

Two albums I love from two of my favourite artists... Hard to decide, but eventually I voted for "The Dreaming", to which I listen more often. It contains one of my all-time favourite songs from the lyrical point of view, "Pull Out the Pin", and other masterpieces as well, like the title-track. On the other hand, "Security" also contains a firm favourite of mine, that is, the beautiful, haunting "San Jacinto".

Cymbals were banned from PG3 as well so it was standard practice for PG4.

Music is not a competitive sport -- these perpetual "VS" polls are very juvenile, IMO.Thumbs Down
