It Bites, slightly prog-oriented band from Cumbria, England, split up in 1990 after their third album. Their finest efforts can be found on their second album "Once Around The World" (1988). Since 2004 there were plans to reform the band in the old line-up, but old frontman Francis Dunnery, now living in New York, again lost interest in a new output. The rest of the band, however, teamed up with new frontman and guitarist John Mitchell (Kino, Arena, Frost) Clap to write and record a new album under the old brand name. It will be released early in 2007 with tours before and after the release (if nothing gets in the way againWink).

You could at least give it a try, couldn`t you? Keep in mind that Francis Dunnery has become a kind of acoustic gutarist over the years and also his vocals became very laid back. Maybe they produce an even better record now that John Mitchell is in charge as frontman.
