| For an Israeli, including Aviv Geffen as prog-related is the equivalent of including Brian Adams or George Michael in this site. There is not a shred of prog in his music. I know he collaborated with Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree but the rest of his music is definitely not prog. He is mainstream and if you listen to his solo albums you will discover that they do not have any of the criteria for prog defined by this web site. Trust me, if you will define Geffen as prog related to most Israeli prog heads they will burst out laughing. |

| Well, he is an Israeli artist. I presume Israelis are more familiar with his solo work in Hebrew. If you have heard his solo work then, of course, that is not the case. |

Well, I haven't heard any of his music, so it's difficult to judge, but it's really rare that we remove an artist/band after adding him/them to the database. So don't get your hopes up. It's not up to me anyway, so if you really think he should be removed, you could PM one of the admins... -------------
