When I search for a forum members name to Pm them,and then select the name occasionally (33% of time) the page freezes and I have to control+alt+delete to crash out.

 I wonder if you are the only one with that bug , any one ?

Maybe an bug with your popup blocker software ?

Wich one do you use ? Google Bar, Yahoo! Bar , IE Sp2 protection ???

I have Windows XP SP2 pop-up protection enabled, but have never had any problem with the PM facility.

It doesn't happen all the time.

More likely to be a problem with the Google Toolbar!
