there are some special cases when a newbie remains a newbie regardless of how many posts it has. Shocked

There should probably be a different name for people who lurk but don't post much. I read the forum almost every day. I don't post much because, for the most part, I have nothing relevant to add to most threads. But, I can't complain. I get a wealth of information for free and enjoy almost every minute I spend in here. So I guess I'll remain a n00b.

Must be a Miracle of the system.  (No pun intended Ansen)

I'd love to see a Lurker status for people like Aaron and TeaFlax, but I think that's a little hard for the admin team to manage.

Good grief! I'm probably way too late to contribute to this thread but yes I do remember the Lurkers. Saw them twice at a pub in Cambridge.

Shadow Shadow Shadow Shadow
My heart's in the shadow

etc etc etc

I was in a state of flux. Still had long hair due to my proggy leanings but wore wore the obligatory ripped t-shirt and safety pins to try and establish some punk street cred. Didn't seem to matter then. Pogoing was the only sort of dancing I ever truly mastered.

Funny though. Nowadays not a single punk record remains in my collection (or rather has been replaced by the CD version). Am truly back to my roots music-wise.
