The page on Can
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_BAND.asp?band_id=667
has the words
They transformed progressive-rock into a science. By bridging classical music, jazz music and rock music of their times, CAN accomplished the first organic study on rhythm and texture. Their hypnotic and glacial instrumental jams straddled the line between free-jazz, acid-rock and chamber music.
which are taken verbatim from Piero Scaruffi's book
"A History of Rock Music".
It would be more honest to quote the real author of the text
instead of pretending to be experts.

All text and quotes from other publications, websites etc. should indeed be acknowledged. I've added one to the bio for Can.

Cheers Msegnan.
