Hey All! I just wanted to start a thread because I'm curious as to what your favourite album covers are. I'll start the ball rolling by saying:
Uriah Heep - Magician's Birthday (by Roger Dean!)
Us & Them: Symphonic Music of Pink Floyd (by Roger Dean!)
Asia - debut (by Roger Dean!)
Roxy Music - debut (not by Roger Dean, but very cute!)

These are probably my favourites at the moment, and no doubt I'll have more favourites in the future, such as Yes' "Drama" and "Relayer"...anyway, post your favourites!

Yes's TALES FROM TOPOGRAPHIC OCEANS is my favorite one - it's on the screen of my home PC. Also I really like RELAYER, FRAGILE and Anderson's OLIAS OF SUNHILLOW covers.

But don't forget about Peter Gabriel's 2nd and 3rd album covers, Grateful Dead's AOXOMOXOA and Beatles's SGT.PEPPER...

Rob, it is OK.  It is kind of a running joke around here about reoccuring themes.  Post away all you want and so what if it is repeated someone will let you know.

Excuse me young man. We here at the Prog Archive forum find your use of the word, "boobies" to be degrogatory, inflamatory, degrading and all together chauvinistic.

Too many great covers to mention them all but "Crime Of The Century" has always been a favourite along with "Crisis? What Crisis?". Then there's two great ones by 10cc,"Deceptive Bends" and "Bloody Tourists" and I also quite like the cover on the "lost" 10cc album,"Ten Out Of Ten". Actually, there aren't that many great prog covers now that I think of it. I haven't actually thought about it before, shame on me nerd that I am!,but I can't think of many. A few early Marillions spring to mind, but off the top of my head falls dandruff. Only joking,I mean off the top of my head I can't think of any more. At least not here at my desk at work,I have to get home and check my cd collection and see what will turn up that's presently skipped my mind.

Peter Gabriels first soloalbum has got the best album cover ever!
It's a car, it's blue and it's drops of rain!
Simple and beautiful and without boobies!     (unfortunately?)
