Feel free to have a discussion that does not stir up emotions, cause offence or touch in any way on the real world.
I bet there is no takers.
So I will start the ball rolling with something that fits my criteria perfectly:
Krautrock-discuss.

It was a bit damp here today. Didn't do much really, just dug up a few old threads.

What form did the serpent in Genesis take before God cursed it to crawl on its belly? Did it bounce on the end of its tail, like the snake from Disney's "Robin Hood"?

Split lots of wood, & made lots of kindling, today -- with every swing of the axe, I pictured Reed or Gdub's head under my blade....
Just kidding, Reed & GDUB. Sorry for being a wet blanket, and trying to hold the Forum back/affect its course. Time for a bit of a break, anyway -- my Internet "habit" has gotten out of hand again....
Talk to you later, fellow progheads!

I'll be back.
Need to write more reviews, anyway....

Cert you're not eclectic enough to join in any discussion!
What's the difference between sitting in the front room for an hour and a half watching the paint dry and listening to a Krautrock CD?
Thankfully the CD lasts a maximum of 80 mins!

Oh, I see - we have to be all lar-dee-dah, high-and-mighty and eclectric to join in discussions these days do we? When I joined up, all you had to do was say "I like Genesis and disco sucks" and you had a discussion.
Ah. Them were t' days...
What's the difference between people who hate Krautrock and a total spasmo?
There isn't any
I still think I haven't "got" the proper spirit of this thread... Maybe if I just keep posting, that'll do the trick!

The deep thought, you numbskull, is "Who came first...the egg or the chicken"
And Reed, I doubt with the egg or the chicken... that deep throat was ever necessary!

...I'm not sure about eclectic - maybe "insensitive to fashion or peer group taste" (i.e. eccentric) is more appropriate...

Insensitive to your family's ears if that cacophony you've chosen in the eclectic thread is anything to go by!

I had a half of Hoegaarden at lunchtime today - and then drove my car nearly 2 miles back to work. Fortunately we arrived at the office without further incident.
What extreme risks did my fellow proggers undertake recently - and what was the outcome?
