I saw the Zappa Plays Zappa Show Friday night in Zürich, and it KILLED!!! The tickets are totally expensive, but it's worth the expense...an excellent selection of gems, played flawlessly and with great respect & devotion by a young band, Napoleon fronting in great form, and Steve Vai blazed through half the show...Terry Bozzio is also playing some shows, unfortunately he wasn't in Zürich...I've heard he and vai together kicked booty in Germany. The show was over three hours long. Dweezil lead through it with a totally relaxed posture, as if he were playing Eagle's tunes, and not "Edchinda's Arf". It may be the last time anybody sees anything close to what a Zappa concert was really like, ever again.

Here's a set list, they do more when Bozzio is there, like "Punky's Whips" and "Tryin' to Grow a Chin":

Help I'm A Rock
Hungry Freaks Daddy
Let's make the water turn black
Florentine Pogen
Pygmy Twilight
Idiot b*****d Son
Cheepniz
King Kong
Don't Eat The Yellow Snow
St Alphonso's Pancake Breakfast
Vivien O'Blivion
Inca Roads
City Of Tiny Lights
Black Page pt 1 and 2
Peaches en Regalia..
Montana
Village Of The Sun
Edchina's Arf of you
Zomby Woof
Sofa .. 2
Encore:
Camarillo Brillo
Son of Orange County
Trouble Every Day
Token of my extreme

That must have been an awesome show. If it comes anywhere near me I'll be there.
