A very big reason I enjoy The Flower Kings so much is because they have a brilliant keyboardist named Tomas Bodin , I am currently buying his Solo stuff and I wanted to know what you people think is his best CD so far ? Tongue

I only have I AM, and it pretty good. The first song "I" is a great dynamic epic marred by a slow and repetitive ending. The second song "A" is incredible!! THe guitar riff in the beginning is awesome and already pulls you in. "M" is kind of disappointing.

I'll give it 3.5 stars.

BTW, Look for "bodin" and you'll find him. He's included already here.

I don't have any. Are they primarily instrumental?

They are all instrumental except for the last one I AM, which is the first part of a planned trilogy.
I only have I AM as I'm not big on instrumental.  I give that one a solid 4 stars.

And Tomas is the main vocalist, or does he bring in guests?

I'm not big on all instrumentals in progressive, either.

I just have I AM.. and i must say, it causes a vrey nice impression to me. I also reviewed in a web page (rockaxis.com), but independent of that, I AM is a very nice album

Sonic Blvd.

I AM is very good but some of the vocals really turn me off.

E-dub.  It is all guests, including Tomas's wife.  TB is no singer.  If you are a FK man, you will be happy with the buy.

I'm a huge Flower Kings fan...and Bodin has a lot to do with that. Amazingly talented musician.

They all are very good. I was buying each of them soon after release, and I like all of them. I voted Sonic Boulevard, as it's sheer beauty, but it's not necessarily the best one. IAM is great, but I did not get into it straight away, and yes, vocals at times can be annoying.
