I vote for Jens Johansen who has played on various projects and has a few solo albums too.

Hard to decide  ...
As I said before on the "Rudess vs. Pinella" poll, Rudess has moer versatility but Symphony X duels are great too !!
So I don't know who to choose.

Ruddess gets my vote with Pinella coming in second. Although I absolutely love Jens work in the first Malmsteen's Rising Force album. Derek is ok. ------------- Discipline is never an end in it self, only a means to an end. |

Rudess is the best no matter how you look at it... It might be "not cool" to admit it, because he plays in a band which is more sortof mainstrain and lots of people hate them and stuff.... But he is the best.... -------------

Jordan Rudess is the example of perfect technique. He definately has the most unique synth sounds of any player. -------------
