Of these four "Big guns", who is the best?
I vote for Jens Johansen who has played on various projects and has a few solo albums too.

Hard to decide Ermm ...
As I said before on the "Rudess vs. Pinella" poll, Rudess has moer versatility but Symphony X duels are great too !!
So I don't know who to choose.

Ruddess gets my vote with Pinella coming in second. Although I absolutely love Jens work in the first Malmsteen's Rising Force album. Derek is ok.

*Jens Johansson

I love Heavy Machinery and Fission, as well as his work with Yngwie in the 80s. I just ordered Jonas Hellborg Group featuring Anders Johansson and Jens Johansson - E. I can't wait to hear how that sounds.

Jordan Rudess. But they all rule.

Isn't Jens Johansen the guy from Stratovarius?

Meh.... Stratovarius are good either way.

Rudess is the best no matter how you look at it... It might be "not cool" to admit it, because he plays in a band which is more sortof mainstrain and lots of people hate them and stuff.... But he is the best....

Out of those 4 Pinella has the best style so I went with him. The two best are Kevin Moore and Geoff Downes. ;)

Jordan Rudess with no doubt, he's the best prog-metal keyboard player of the worldClap

Jordan Rudess is the example of perfect technique.  He definately has the most unique synth sounds of any player.
