First Generation CD - the best track by a parsec (IMO)(Theme One) - Was written by a George Martin - who is he ?

There is a theme in my prog-listening where "Experimental" (i.e King Crimson - VDGG) - Usually means random notes and cacophony that could have been produced by a cat swatting a fly on a hammond whilst somebody else plays random blasts on an old Saxophone.....tis a shame that nice licks (esp the start of Plague..... are not developed by organ/piano/acoustic and electric guitars...then it would have been a LOT better !!

Perhaps it's just me that sees that the Crimson King is in his birthday suit ??

It isThe George Martin. The Beatle's Producer. It was written for a radio programme the title
of which escapes me but I think it was a current affairs type of thing.

Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.

It was the theme for "The Friday Rock show" with DJ Tommy Vance on BBC Radio 1 starting @ 22:00 for 2 hours - I was an avid listener in my youth.

It was written for the above mentioned (my earlier post)
programme circa 1967 I do believe. VdGG recorded it in 1971.It was a single, the b-side of which was the beautiful 'W'.
