Patriotism dictates that I should want Arsenal to win.
The logical choice is Barca though.
However I predict Arsenal to win on penalties.

I don't see why, as most (all? ) of their players come from somewhere else than Britain.
My vote goes to Barcelona.

Since fellow Dutchmen Johan Cruijff, Joan Neeskens and Rinus Michels led Barcelona to many national and international successes in the Seventies, I am a Barcelona fan. A few years ago I even attended the 'clash of the titans' Barcelona against Real Madrid in a sold out venue at Camp Nou, what an unforgettable experience, so emotional with Johan Cruijff as coach and Ronald Koeman and the 'angry young man' Stoichkov, eventually Barcelona won with 1-0 (header by Nadal).
So again with an obvious Dutch touch (coach Frenk Rijkaard and player 'Gio' van Bronckhorst) I go for Barcelona but I am a bit concerned about the shape of Ronaldinho (too much circus, very few decisive moments) and E'to (he misses to much chances) in the last weeks. But real stars shine at the right moment so my vote goes to Barcelona, 2-1 !

Arsenal is my favourite English club, but my vote goes to Barcelona for
sure. As a dutchman I love the fact that Frank Rijkaard & Henk ten
Cate have pulled it off to achieve this great moment. Besides that, I
absolutely love to see Ronaldinho play and have fun on the pitch.
And as a long-time Ajax-fan I want to see Henk ten Cate's last game
with Barcelona, before announcing he will become the new coach of
Ajax...

Yes Man Made God, I am an Ajax fan, a bit Freudian to forget a certain Mark Van Bommel while I saw him playing two Barcelona games on the ESPN satellite sports channel during my holiday in Aruba, he played very dynamic and adventurous and should be in the national team !

Even though I'm a West Ham supporter I'd like to see them win it but common sense tells me Barcelona. (I don't care as long as West Ham wins the F.A Cup )

I like english teams, so I'm supporting Barcelona.
I f*cking hate Wenger. Calling people xenophobic when they criticize him for refusing to pick englishmen. What a knob.

Ok,prediction time.
What score after 90 mins?
If you predict a draw how will the match conclude,ie extra time victory or penalty shoot out?
Me: Arsenal 2 Barca 2
still 2-2 after extra-time.
Arsenal win 5-4 on pens and Ronaldinho to miss...

Arsenal 1-0 or 2-0, barca can be playing really nice and good looking, but i don't see them breaking Arsenal's system unless Ronaldinho comes us with a pass like the one that gave to Giuly at San Siro, and i don't see that happening.

I am afraid that coward Wenger will start without Van Persie and Bergkamp because he is more afraid to loose the ball than he will give these creative but a bit capricious Dutch frontmen the opportunity to show their skills. So in my opinion the game will not be on the level of the exciting FA Caup final between Liverpool and West Ham United or the thrilling Cup final between Ajax and PSV.
My prediction: 0-0, then extra time, still 0-0, then the best team looses on penalties, that's football logica so Barcelona-Arsneal 4-5 after penalties ... ..
In fact I hope that Barcelona will score in the first 15 minutes !

On the one hand, it would be good to see the Champion's League won by an English team again.
On the other hand, as a Liverpool supporter and taking into account which is the better team, it has to be Barcelona.
My prediction? Lots of boring touch football from Arsenal, followed by a lack of attacking play, excitement or interest until Barca score early in the second half. Wenger makes a substitution, Arsenal equalise and probably go on to win on penalties.

Barcelona!
I'm a Man United fan and therefore can't stand Arsenal.
Anyway; Barcelona are better offensively and Arsenal are better defensively. It's probably going to be a pretty even match. My prediction is it's a tie after 90 minutes and then it could be anyone's game.
Barcelona win 4-3 on penalties.

This is not good for my nerves!
I let junior stay up late to watch...........he is clutching his Bobby Pires autograph, wearing his shirt, and been through SO many emotions in the last 45 miins that I am deeply worried about the emotional effect on him
still.............10 men and one goal up!

Hard luck Arsenal...! I didn't think 10 men could defend that goal lead for the whole second half and I unfortuneately I was right

well I think it was a fair result
some say Eto's first goal was offside, but Arsenal's foul that led to the goal never existed
anyway, I really liked the way Arsenal played throug the whole tournament
but Barca are a bit, just a bit better...

I am glad with the result because it's an award for Barcelona their wonderful play this season but I feel not at ease with the fact that the poor referee send off keeper Lehmann (although he is an arrogant creep ), this has a very negative impact on the game.
But I enjoyed some great moments by Thierry Henry and Ronaldinho and the Barca subs decided the game (in fact I was flabbergasted that coach Rijkaard didn't start with Iniesta and Beletti), especially Henke Larsson who finally had a well deserved exit with the Champions League medaillon, what a skilled killer forward player !
By the way, a big hand for Arsenal, they surprised me very positive !
