 From now on when I listen to King Crimson I'll always have a picture of Mr. Fripp washing the dishes in my mind.

That was Jaime Muir behind the drum kit. Now I don't feel as bad washing the dishes knowing that one of my heroes does it also. But it really was kind of disturbing! ------------- Discipline is never an end in it self, only a means to an end. |

Ah yes, a classic vision of married bliss in the Fripp/Wilcox household..
That clip was originally shown on Channel 4TV in the UK, on a 'Prog Rock Top Ten' show, hosted by comedian and hairy rock fan Bill Bailey. The clip with Muir, Cross & co was also shown on the same show. KC came in at number 9 in their prog chart, which was based on time spent in the UK album charts. For those who are interested, the chart went.. 10 - Camel 9 - King Crimson 8 - Hawkwind 7 - Rush 6 - ELP 5 - Yes 4 - Jethro Tull 3 - The Moody Blues 2 - Genesis 1 - Pink Floyd  ------------- Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy! |

He has a great west country accent. I wish I could find the clip - from the same show - where he's being interviwed, wearing a Tweed jacket and flat cap, standing by some druid stone circle saying 'The top of my head blew off, and I witnessed true freedom as a human being for the first time' In avrey thick Devon (or Somerset accent) Re, disbanding KC in the mid 70's.....I think.. ------------- Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy! |
