Yes. ELP one of the few seventies prog band I can't listen to.

Are you going to match all the bands in the P.A and ask which we prefer?
I suggest you to make a thread about it, but giving a list of band you want us to rate, and then ask us to order in preference terms.

| I can't vote for either, because I love them both. Yes are probably more consistent in their output, but some things by ELP are among the absolute masterpieces of prog. |

Yes. I do enjoy Emerson, Lake and Palmer every now and then but I tire of them real fast for some reason. -------------

wow.... a tough one........... a fan of both... IF I had to choose.... as much I as enjoy Yes.... find ELP more interesting.... everything from the music.. to the group dynamics and history of the group, and respect their innovation and influence within the genre ... plus I think Emerson and Palmer amoung the very tops in the genre at their respective instruments... while Yes appeals to me greatly on a spiritual and intellectual level....
