Hi, Prog-guys

I think that also band such as J.Hendrix Experience and Cream will be add in Progarchives Band List, they aren't progressive, but they made the foundations wich helped the growth of Prog Music, and in a way they made the history of all music from the end of the 60s to our days.
Tell me your opinions about this topic.

both hendrix and cream, and many other artists, would be ideal candidates for a new sub-genre i would call possibly "blues prog". but where do you stop? how many more sub-genres could one invent? Wacko

Both are artist that I greatly admire and am fans of. And they did lay the foundation of prog with there sonic experimentation and extended jams. But the Beach Boys also were part of the progressive revolution. And I doubt anyone would want them here.

I thought Cream was originally labelled Progressive when they came out and that is where the term Progressive Rock came from.
