Could somebody help me out with who writes Genesis's lyrics on each song in the Gabriel era. I know some for sure but im not sure of others. I know theres a lot of songs there, so if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appriciated. DANKE SCHONE

I think Gabriel wrote most of the lyrics (perhaps with some of the other members of Genesis sometimes too...)

With Genesis I believe it was pretty much a collaborative in the early Gabriel days. Although I read in an interview with the band, it was actually Tony and Mike who  wrote the lyrics to Watcher Of The Skies.
In The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, (except for one song, The Light Dies Down On Broadway, which Banks wrote), all of The Lamb's lyrics and story was written by Gabriel.

I haven't really researched it, but I thought that the music was largely a collaborative effort, while the lyrics were mainly Gabriel.
