Easy formula - one album from one band
For me,MC was the obvious choise.I was obscured with MARILLION's unquestionable greatness at first...but then I've remebered, that its side B is a bit(no,I can't say "weak"!!!)...a bit usual(except for brilliant "Blind Curve").
And then I've mentioned COLLAGE's masterpeice...my favouritest Neo-prog cincept album, truly.I've got it April,17th,2005,and in Anniversary Listening Day I've realised that it's REALLY INCREDIBLE!!! Just marvellous...
PS:sorry if I haven't included your favourite - you may vote in "other" category...

Thank you that you mentioned my favourite prog concept album: Casino by Casino (Geoff Mann, Clive Nolan and others). Music and lyrics are a complete unity, and I never heard a concept album that made a bigger impression on me than this one. One of the peak moments / albums of both Geoff and Clive.

I think,1992 was the best year for Clive:a stunning SHADOWLAND's debut(my favouritest from him ) and a last work with Mann... .R.I.P.

I took SATELLITE-A Street between Sunset and Sunrise but there is nothing wrong with any of the other choices. Tough poll.

I choose Subterranea by IQ, although that's not their best work (I prefer Dark Matter).

Well, I incline towards The Sentinel. And I'm the first one to vote on this album as I can see.

I know this album well, its my favorite. I still don't undrstand the concept. All the songs are independant...aren't they?
Oh well...

Well, I don't agree it sounds like one long song, but there is a constant tone throughout the album, except mybe on "War is Over." By your arguement, I think it could pass off as an album with a loose set of themes, but not a strong concept. If you can prove me otherwise, please do so. I'd like to know what you think the concept is.

OK...Let me think...I'll prepare my thoughts a bit later,OK?I'm not a native speaker of English, and it's difficult to teel you right now,how do I find MOONSHINE to be a concept story(besides,I agree, that it has NO definite concept,it ISN'T a story with characters or something like this)
