Don't be ashamed, tell the truth, we all do some of these things.

I admit it, I watch MTV sometimes. They have some funny stuff on their sometimes.

I answered question 1 with yes, but Friede and I listen to WDR3 only, a radio station that does not broadcast pop music, but lots of classical and jazz and lately prog too. and no advertising there either. so that's probably not very mainstream

I listen to the radio about once or twice a week, but the music they play in the programs I listen to isn't very mainstream.
I like reality shows, at least some of them.
I sometimes read books that are currently popular with the masses, but most of the books I read are not.
I guess I'm less mainstream than I thought.

By the way, do I get extra points if I haven't even heard of Hollister?

I suppose listening to radio stations which broadcast classical music or jazz is not very mainstream.I don't do the rest and  I don't miss them.

I party a good bit... Australia is the land that is mostly untouched by the filth that is MTV. This site provides a very accurate deffinition for MTV http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=MTV

F*ck drugs, f*ck fashion trends, f*ck MTV.
None of the above. This sh*t just doesn't appeal to me.
However I do party with friends and don't think there's anything mainstream-ish about this. Actually I don't look at it in this way - "is it mainstream or is it not?", I just do what I like.

It appears that not applying to any of these above mentioned options is the mainstream here in PA.

I watch MTV on occasion, I like (some) reality shows, I read popular books, and I color-coordinate my clothes most of the time, and I'm not embarrassed to say it because I actually like doing it, and I'm being true to myself.

Yes. Or at the very least stupid.

Does listening to the Classical station on the radio count? I also listen to the Classic Rock station sometimes, so I guess that counts. I don't do any of those other things though.
Just for the record, the NY Times Bestseller list is complete garbage. (Well there's probably a few good books hidden in there. But The DaVinci Code suxxorz.) Read good books, people!

I listen to the radio and enjoy some of it (but its classic rock, and the station plays a good bit of proggy stuffs [pink floyd, yes, etc]).

I also like SOME reality tv.

I listen to radio sometimes .. but it's a rock channel.

I watch MTV but not for the music, but because of South Park and Jackass.
