I voted for "Conceiving You" for the heck of it, it's such a great song
about unrequited love. But in reality I can't pick a best song. I've been listening to this a few times a week for the past few months, and it's one of the best albums I've heard in years. Absolutely sensational.  |

For me Second life Syndrome is a monumental song in prog world,it contains all the elements of the album and Riverside signature so i vote for this song.The ambiental ,warm guitar at the end is one of the most beautiful sound i ever heard! ------------- Ars longa , vita brevis |

Who is this band? I see so much written about them, but never heard a
single note. Are they more on the metal side? Would like to know so I can look into getting their stuff, if need be. E -------------

E-dub: They are classified as prog-metal by this site but are not too heavy. The album "Second Life Syndrome" just contains absolutely wonderful, emotional songs; singer and bassist Mariusz Duda has a really wonderful tone to his voice. They are all great on their instruments but the compositions are really stunning. It is one of the best progressive albums I've heard in a long time, getting constant rotation on my CD player. Check out the reviews on the band here for some more opinions, but I would recommend you get this album (I still have yet to pick up their first album, "Out of Myself"), you will not be disappointed. |

I'm listening to some samples, and I REALLY like what I hear. I was a bit
skeptical because of the prog metal label; however, this band seems to be much more about prog than metal. Sort of like Porcupine Tree. E -------------

I've listened to it twice and I don't know yet.The title track seems to be the obvious choice,but I also love intro/outro and instrumental track.All awesome |
