I am listening to the album as I type this.

It's very good!

I voted for "Conceiving You" for the heck of it, it's such a great song about unrequited love.  But in reality I can't pick a best song.

I've been listening to this a few times a week for the past few months, and it's one of the best albums I've heard in years.  Absolutely sensational.

'Second Life Syndrome'. The slow keyboard part at around six minutes is just superb. A great song all round.

I voted for "After", because while I was listening to it I could expect something very good from this album, but very soon it all returned back to normal.

For me Second life Syndrome is a monumental song in prog world,it contains all the elements of the album and Riverside signature so i vote for this song. The ambiental ,warm guitar at the end is one of the most beautiful sound i ever heard!

Who is this band? I see so much written about them, but never heard a
single note. Are they more on the metal side? Would like to know so I can
look into getting their stuff, if need be.

E-dub:  They are classified as prog-metal by this site but are not too heavy.  The album "Second Life Syndrome" just contains absolutely wonderful, emotional songs; singer and bassist Mariusz Duda has a really wonderful tone to his voice.  They are all great on their instruments but the compositions are really stunning.  It is one of the best progressive albums I've heard in a long time, getting constant rotation on my CD player.  Check out the reviews on the band here for some more opinions, but I would recommend you get this album (I still have yet to pick up their first album, "Out of Myself"), you will not be disappointed.

I'm listening to some samples, and I REALLY like what I hear. I was a bit
skeptical because of the prog metal label; however, this band seems to be
much more about prog than metal. Sort of like Porcupine Tree.

Yeah, you guys convinced me. Ordered Second Life Syndrome last night.

I may have to hunt down the first one, too. The sample provided on this site
was pretty awesome.

Thanks, guys.
