As a kind of newbie when it comes to prog I don't really know how a melltron sounds and I'm really curious about that. It seems like a really cool instruments and it's used by many of my favourite bands. Has anyone got a sample or a link, please post it here. I would be veery happy

Hi,

When it comes to mellotron samples, the best IMHO is the Mike Pinder mellotron samples by Invision. You can buy and hear some samples of mellotron sound here: http://www.mellotron.com/prices.htm - http://www.mellotron.com/prices.htm .It works with Akai samplers.

Below the same page, you have a mellotron listening room, wich can be quite useful for someone who want to know the sound of a mellotron.Hope that help.
