Took my wife and 3 year old daughter out to dinner for a Mexican feast,
then over to a custard place for some ice cream, and finally to a park on the
banks of the Missouri River for a bit. Hearing the laughter of your own child
and watching her playing makes for a pretty damn good Saturday (or any
day) night to this progster.

C'mon, it's cool...  and my wife is just here with me, listening to some fine prog-songs and learning a bit more about prog-rock reading our reviews. OK! Here where I live Sat night is for tourists and fools - the natives (just like me) have their happy hour on Tuesdays or Weds.

Cool, Not Cool , I really don't care.

I am with my wife as well, and she just asked me tp put for her the following cd's:

Spock's Beard - V

Overhead - Metaepitome

Subterranean Masquerade - Suspended Animation Dreams

Discipline - Unfolded Like Staircase

And we enjoy them together.

Now that is all I could ask for for this lovely night.

I'm married and have a kid.  My excuse rules!!

Besides, I'll be seeing Neuraxis, Alarum, Necrophagist, Arsis, and Cattle Decapitation on May 25 so I'm covered in the cool department for a while.

That is a very nice site you have there.

Apparently we share some interests - Science (molecular cell biology) and music (prog & metal).

So could you cover for my uncoolness...

Well, tomorrow we have Presidential elections, so every decent place is closed due to "Dry Law" (No liquor can be sold).

So sitting in front of my PC with a good brandy (Which tastes better being semi illegal tonight) is the coolest thing we can do tonnight.

Well part of the reasons we got together in the first place was the music.

We love listening to it together, and she loves it when I bring her new stuff (although she knows all the stuff I mentioned above). The only problem is that I do not allow anyone (and I do mean anyone) to touch my cd's - THEY ARE MINE, AND MINE ALONE! wow, a little insanity moment there, but its ok, I;m past that now.  So in any case, if she wants to hear something she asks me where it is or that I bring it to her, or put it on our stereo or pc.

Becks and I share a love of classical but she just never got into prog.. she says it makes her nervous (if I had a dime for everytime I've heard a woman say that about prog.. or in particular jazz)

oh lord have mercy... buy a lockable case before you have kids  hahah.  My youngest got ahold of my ....oh this hurts to say.. Palepoli CD and scratched the hell outta of it (why couldn't it have been one of Beck's Celine Dion CD's )

OMG, I am truly sorry for you. I can go berzerk if someone does something to my cd's.
