hehhe no ´60 nor ´70...because they would certainly have the majority of votes... But the other eras are excellent too!!! I waven´t heard as much of the ´90 and ´00 as from the ´80, but from what I have heard the ´00 are my favorite period!!! The 80's band was interesting for it'innovations, but that finger-excercise style of music got boring fast. I'd go wth the latest. Construction of Light & The Power To Believe were just amazing. ------------- Trust me. I know what I'm doing. |

For me it's undoubtfully 00 era, as IMO their latest studio is unbelievably good, their 90's are pretty mediocre, and their 80's are unbearably bad. ------------- carefulwiththataxe |

Too soon to pass definitive judgement on the "00's" (I'm enjoying Fripp's and Belew's solo ventures, though)...but one listen to "Absent Lovers" will convince most listeners that the 80's line-up was pretty incredible. ------------- The original (and very creepy) cover of THE STEVE HOWE ALBUM...hint...look in the water...

I thought they lost some direction with Construction of Light but Thrak and The Power to Believe are awesome. Much heavier than the 80's which was a little more poppy but had great songs nonetheless. Still I go for the new millenium Crimson. ------------- My Doc Told Me I Have Doggie Head. |

I prefer their 90's and 00's stuff but I also think that the 80's albums were very good and more innovative.

Discipline era?? i love Discipline, but TOAPP and Beat are their "weakest" albums IMO... then i will vote for Power to Believe Era, despite i dont lika that album so much ------------- Follow me on twitter @memowakeman |

Basing my vote on Discipline, Vroom and The power to believe (since they are the only albums I have from those eras unfortunetly ) I vote for the 00's era.My first KC albums was The power to believe! -------------

I prefer the double trio, largely because of the excellent live set Vroom Vroom. Absent Lovers should convince anybody with ears of the worth of the 80s Crimson line up, while Heavy Construkction showcases the TCOL line up to great effect. I picked the Dicipline lineup as my favorite. Three unique albums, with songs that while not always easy on the ears, are completely necessary. No fillers. I can almost say this for the double trio, but I feel that lineup was a bit too repetitive at times. All good though! ------------- Arguing with anonymous strangers on the internet is a sucker's game because they almost always turn out to be or seem to be self-righteous sixteen-year-olds possessing infinite amounts of free time. |

00s definately. Discipline was not a bad effort back in 80s but still other albums were much weaker 90s were very very experimental (with all those ProjeKts) - not very creative and very much inaccessible 00s - I enjoyed Power to Believe and "Eyes Wide Open" DVD which I suppose is a MUST in every collection for a KC fan. ------------- PF, Genesis, KC, Yes, VdGG, GG, Camel, Jethro Tull |
