Hey all. One of my mates does silkscreening, and does shirts with whatever you want on them for pretty cheap. So, I'm trying to come up with something to put on it that's prog related. But, i'm out of ideas. The best i've come up with is Progrock in large letters, with "music for musicians" underneath, because I told my friend that once. But that hardly does it justice. So help me out if you can. Try and give "Progrock" a funny/cool/truthful/awesome caption. I'm trying and failing :( Thanks. Also, I'm not sure where to put this, if it should be somewhere else, my appologies  Thanks. Syn. -------------

I was merely kidding. On a more serious note, I always had one little sentence as a definition of prog in my mind - "Thinking Man's Music". Or something like "In Constant Advancement Since 1967", but actually now I think the first idea was better. -- Ivan ------------- sig |

My brother, knowing my penchant for Progressive Rock, gave me a present a couple of years back: a T-shirt he had made, with the logos of around 20 Progressive Rock groups printed on the back.He'd scanned the logos from the album covers and used his inkjet printer to print the logos on special iron-on transfer paper, which he then ironed onto a white T-shirt. It was a nice surprise and actually looks good.

I would just go with the cover of King Crimson's "In The Court Of The Crimson King" and have a caption: Does this scare you? Then prog rock isn't for you! Or if you like Neo prog: Neo Prog is yummy! Who gave prog a bad name? Phil Collins - but I still like it. -------------

Expand please :) At the moment, i'm thinking of just designing myself a Porcupine Tree t-shirt until i can some up with something fitting. It is a bad idea to put down other genres, or be all uppity. It'll require a fair amount of thought. I was thinking of just having the opening paragraph of the Prog Rock definition on this site printed on the t-shirt. That automatically says what prog is: long and complicated. Haha. Thanks for the input guys :) BL~ -------------

I like the KC one, but I can only really get it done with text, and no pictures sorry. My mates not THAT pro. I was thinking of making a progarchives shirt, with MIND MUSIC in some groovy font from the 60's/70's, and www.progarchives.com underneath it in square letters. OR something. I ended up giving up thinking about it, and made a PT design. I am never kerning, airbrushing and erasering every letter for the first verse of Sky Moves phase one again haha.  Thoughts? edit: That's a very very scaled down version. I'm thinking of cleaning the letters in the header up a little as well. In case anyones interested, I started with Courier New as the font :) -------------
