Be SURE I'll be there!!!
And I'm taking along some very nice friends as well, one of them being Dirk, who also posts at this forum quite often
Riverside is a band not to be missed live - and I know, as I've seen them perform at Apeldoorn's Blues Café last year, a very small venue, which was rightout awesome - easily adding up to that year's best concerts, and regarding the large number of wonderful concerts I witnessed that year, that says A LOT.
See you there!!!

I went there especially to see Riverside perform... all I can say about that performance: WOW!!! I fully realize that I may never again get the chance to see such a wonderful band perform in such a tiny, intimate café - one of those disadvantages of your favourite bands making it to "Big Time". (I know I'm being selfish here, and I do think the Riverside gentlemen deserve a fair amount of money for their beautiful music! )
Sad for the Polish fans, but good to read they're doing so well in Poland - but yeah, it's their home base, after all.

the bad luck is that the only gig that is sold out in the tour - it is some kind of destiny....

Saw them yesterday in Gdansk. Very good show IMHO and the place was packed. There was also a meeting with the guys a few hours before the gig so I got all of their CDs signed :-) If you are still undecided whether to go or not, just go and see them. It was just great being there.

Well, I'm not going to this gig, but ont eh 15th of September, they
will be playing in Hardenberg, together with VandenPlas & Aurora
Project....
I haven't bought tickets yet, as I just bought them for Arrow Rock & Opeth, but it looks like a cool concert....
I am looking forward to some kind of review of the Zoetermeer gig.

I have seen them live last thursday and it certainly rocked!
Great show with a magnificent cover of PINK FLOYD's 'Shine on you crazy Diamond'!
Spoken to Piotr (The guitarist that is) for quite some time after the show about lots of things and he is truly a damn decent guy :)

It was indeed a great show, they played almost the whole Second life syndrome cd.
Other songs, I Believe, Voices in my head. The bit with some PF in it was the opener of the show. The guitar player was a bit too introvert, and the bass sound was sometimes a bit too much. But overall it was a good show although I think they will eventually get better as they get more experienced. See them live if you've got the chance !!!!
