I will be doing a solo set @ the Gong 2006 Event in Amsterdam! I am very excited about this gig!! Cyndee Details: Melkweg Amsterdam, the Netherlands From the GAS site: Gong Family Unconvention 2006 a joyous conspiracy playing it by heart when: 3rd, 4th, 5th November 2006 friday (doors open 4.30pm), saturday, sunday; full moon weekend where: Melkweg Amsterdam http://www.melkweg.nl/voorpagina.jsp what: 3 nights of musical magic - an audiovisual feast. All manner of things - undoubtedly musical vibrations never before attempted in the modern era and new to all, sights and sounds the like of which have not been seen nor heard for many a long year. And most importantly of all - You - having the grandest of adventures - with us. why: because together we can who: Daevid Allen, Tim Blake, Steve Hillage & Miquette Giraudy, Mike Howlett, Didier Malherbe, Gilli Smyth, Here & Now, Steffe, Mother Gong 2006, Theo Travis, the Two Grahams (Clark and Massey), Eat Static, Mark Robson, Kangaroo Moon, Fabio Golfetti for starters... Thanks!!! I am SOOoooooooooo excited, not only about playing at this gig, but also about seeing Steve Hillage finally play guitar!!! WOW!

Almost the classic Gong line-up, but for the late Pierre Moerlen, who will certainly watch with interest from the drummer cloud where he resides now. Do you know who will fill in for him? Pip Pyle perhaps?

Nice to know Here and Now are alive and kicking and supported by Joie Hinton of the Ozric Tentacles now. He should fit in well. Also nice to see Eat Static are still up and around. And a new Mother Gong line-up too! It all sounds very promising indeed. Are there any plans for this event to be recorded? Yeah!! And they just announced that Tim Blake and Jeah-Phillippe Rykeil (Crystal Machine) will be performing as well!! I am excited to be doing a gig with them in the UK in Sept too.. Cyndee
