I checked:
1. The Camel site's been existing at least since 2002 (maybe I'm wrong but if it was illegal it would've been tracked a long time ago IMO). 2. The Yesomania site acts within the rules of YesSwap (a list of Yes bootlegs collectors). The Rules (agreed by Yes): The trading of commercially available recordings, unreleased studio demos, & the like is forbidden here. There is a reason for this: This is a sore point for the band. We have discussed this matter with someone very close to the band & this is their position: Trading of live shows is cool. Live shows are a public performance FOR public consumption, & the circulation of them helps to promote the band. Out of print material & B-sides/bonus tracks are okay for now. Trading of studio demos is NOT cool. These demos were NOT intended for public consumption & the band is unhappy about their circulation. This is the reason that the Yessoteric site was asked to be taken down.
