I can't imagine an album better than V, however they are SYMPHONY X. That will be a big surprise for me I think. :D

All I know from their website is that its getting closer and its going to have a much heavier feel to it than The Odessey. It could end up being pretty good or just average, but I dont see it surpassing V and maybe only matching Divine Wings... at best, though I'd like to be proved wrong on this.

@hamham, they say the longest track is going to be about 15 minutes.

Ive been a fan of the band in question for about eight years now , I think the next CD will be their best ever from a prog point of view , from a metal perspective I`m not sure , since the last CD was so heavy, Tell you what Drew  check out Michael Pinnella`s  solo CD "Enter by the twelth Gate"  if you haven't already ! Symph X have so much to offer and I believe they will turn to Micheal Pinnella for direction (after how strong his arrangements are), this will lead them to more progressive rock sensibilities with a metal edge !

"Mike assures me that this thing is going to kick ass when it's done; it's going to be well worth the wait"

Well I hope they will reach another plane again!

It's not heavier than "The Odyssey", just darker in
atmosphere.

Where did they say the longest track will be around 15 minutes?

"The album will be great but not their best".

I really don't know though. I'm saying that because I'm absolutely in love with "Twilight In Olympus", but who knows?
