has anybody listened a youg classical piano trained teeager named Vanessa Carlton?.
I'm quite impressed about her work. ok, she is more common in the world of new pop music but i think she does much more than pure pop. her symphonic playing and arrangements (composed by herself as well as all the music and the lyrics) along with some extremely well performed pop rock give as a result a very impressing pieces of music. if you had any interes about how the shymponic music can be used in other styles of music aside from prog rock it's a good chance.

I've heard the name but I guess I didn't listen to anything she has released. I'll try to hear something and see if she's not a Richard Clayderman in shirts.

Vanessa Carlton is very good.

Do you like Alicia Keyes?A lot of her music has the same elements.
