| Epic and story songs are two different things. Karn Evil 9 and Tarkus are great epics, but they don't have a story (unless you really wanna go crazy into analyzing them). Lucky Man has a definite story, but is certainly nothing epic. |

Tarkus "feels" the most epic to me. Even though "Take a Pebble"
is not an epic or a story, I really REALLY love that song.

Lucky Man for me. I think it has a pretty simple, yet effective, story in its lyrics and a epic sound to the music.... then a synth solo out of left field. One of the reasons I dig ELP so much. For me they could make any song sound epic. -------------

Karn Evil 9, though I really don't like the computer voices at the end. I
